How do I merge a receipt manually with a credit card transaction?

The receipt isn't merged automatically with the credit card transaction. You have to do this manually, but how?

You have to merge the credit card transaction manually with the receipt from your 'Expense inbox':

I work with the app:

Open your app and click on the burgermenu (3 horizontal stripes on the top left)

Open the credit card report

Click on the credit card expense, that is not matched, to open it

You will see a button 'Merge' on the top right side

Click on 'Merge'

You will see all the receipts that are not submitted yet.

In the header you will see the transaction details, the date and amount, that will make it easy for you to search for the right receipt

Select the right receipt and click on merge

You have successfully merged the receipt with your credit card transaction. When the statement day has been passed, every credit card transaction has a receipt and the fields are filled in with information, you are able to submit the report.

I work with a browser:

Go to your Reports Overview

Open the credit card report


Click on the button 'Merge with expense'

You will see all  receipts that are not yet submitted.


In the header you will see the transaction details in green, the date and amount, that will make it easy for you to search for the right receipt

Select the right receipt and click on merge

You have successfully merged the receipt with your credit card transaction. When the statement day has been passed, every credit card transaction has a receipt and the fields are filled in with information, you are able to submit the report.
